Edible Thistle

Edible Thistle (cirsium edule)is found moist forests and meadows in mid to subalpine elevations.
Kinda pretty I thought.  Something to think about if you are lost in the high mountains.  MB

Christmas Cactus?

Or Thanksgiving cactus? Well both actually. It is Schlumbergera truncata or sometimes called Zygocactus.
