A fine action photo of that tractor and spring tooth harrow preparing ground for planting. Your second mosaic has a photo of a Basque flower, the state flower of South Dakota. Lovely to see. They are the first flowers to push up through melting snow in the early spring. So, you have a friend in Lemon. I have a good friend who grew up there and I know a few people from there. Lemon is noted for their petrified wood park and for the local artist, John Lopez

MB - it seemed like spring would never arrive, and suddenly everything is green and GROWING! We do have a weather front coming in later in the week; temps will be 30 degrees cooler on Friday! The rose mosaic is tantalizing - I want to plunge my nose into those petals and breathe in the aroma! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Seems like we went from Spring to "almost summer" very quickly! So pretty in your neighborhood. thank you again for the info on the sun halo -- I used it in my post this week, credited you and put a link to you. (And that was the best part of my post! -- I am running out of new experiences and pictures at the moment).

Another beautiful writing with the photography along with it. It is supposed to be beautiful weather here in this month but we keep getting rain, wind and the sun doesn't show up on these Pentecost days either. Last year we had really nice warm weather. My flowers in the small balcony garden have a lot to endure now too. The farmers are also having a hard time in the fields. Wish you beautiful and cozy days.

We were so late getting to the rhody park last week because now it is almost time for a visit to the rose garden! (Two of my favorite photo op places near us.) Your roses are gorgeous!
