Lunch Break

The deer seem to love our Apple trees.  We a lots of trees for them to munch on and clean up under the trees so we don't really mind.  But when they munch my tomatoes is when i draw the line-----

Oh no!  I'd better get out of here
There were a bunch of Cedar Waxwings in the far birch tree and this is the best I could do at long distance

Cedar Waxwings are a rare sight here - lucky you to get photos!
Saw a deer here a few days ago eating pears that fell from our trees. Hopefully, my tomatoes are too close to the house to tempt them.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Deer do love to eat apples. Great shots of the action. Also good to see the Cedar Waxwings.

Deers know a good fruit when they see it. :) Cute wee bird, love the little whoop-de-do on his head in the first bird photo. :)

I love cedar waxwings. Deer? Not so much. Not content to browse ours reach up and pull down fruit tree branches, among other things.

I have seen cedar waxwings but they are always too far away to get a good pic of.

Cedar waxwings are wonderful birds. They used to love our holly trees (back in our former life) and would feed each other the berries.
