We have had several days of heavy rain so of course the rivers are rising. The sun was out today and no rain in the forecast for several days.

That is a lot of water!
This is awful, I know the bad smell, my Hubby´s apartment flooded twice. When he said after the first time, being with me in Braunschweig, "If the water gets in again, I move to your place" I crossed my fingers (that´s not mean after enduring 13 years of weekend-relationship) and the water even went into the bathtub! We since live together here.
Oh my! This is becoming a common sight. A sign of things to come?

...it looks like the drought is broken! On some floodplain areas around here we can have similar situations in spring. I looks like it's time to get the boat out. Thank Mary Beth for floating by.
It has been an amazingly wet year here in thee Midwest, so we have also had flooded roads. That water looks deep.
That is an amazing amount of water. Hopefully everyone is safe. We have rain today but not enough to cause flooding.
Too much water. We had those conditions in the spring.
