Our power just came on after being out since 9PM and now it is 6AM----what a drag
The Goldfinches are back. I like them shiny yellow birdies
The Eagles are back too
And the Canada Goose is back at the pond

Lucky you! I like the goldfinches, too. Not sure if we have 'em around here, though. Is that the same goofy Canadian goose that comes back every year and how could you tell 'cause they all look the same to me?
Glad you got your power back on. I hate when that happens and I think it's usually somebody's fault and could have been avoided.
We should be glad we don't live in Puerto Rico. The Orange-headed Monster in the White House has let those poor people die on the vine. There's still large sections of the country without power and that's been what, almost a year? But he sure does love Jesus. I mean, he even went to a prayer breakfast.
One advantage of having solar power off the grid. - Margy
I also love the goldfinches...such bright harbingers of spring. I have a special spot in my heart for Canada Geese (my geese because I'm Canadian) and eagles because they have come back almost from extinction. And you know I never turn down a sighting of Mount Baker's head rising up from the clouds.
Thanks for sharing!

...you struck gold!
An abundance of bird company!
Wonderful! Love what you are getting to see right now. Love that new header, too!
The birds will sing a song for you and hopefully you will have a better day. :)
Lucky you on the eagles. I have only seen them in captivity. I enjoy goldfinches. I had to smile at the upside down shot. Beautiful series of shots.
Goldfinches are like bright spots of sunshine!
You are blessed to have that eagle nest!
Hello, I love watching the goldfinches, cute captures. Love the eagle on the nest and the goose reflection. I am sorry to be so late commenting. I just got home from our road trip and I am now trying to catch up on my commenting. Thanks so much for linking up your post. Have a happy day and weekend ahead.
