More barns

All in Skagit Valley
Two nice barns and lots of Snow Geese and Trumpeter Swan.
On Fir Island Rd. with Mt. Baker in the background
 More Baker
I went to a garage sale in this barn many years ago and it looked just the same as it does now.
I like this place.  It is a dairy operation

Beautiful shots. Mount Baker seems to be calling out to me, saying, "come up me."

You have a vista of barns...and lovely ones they are, too. I'd really like that dairy barn. It has a very unique smell inside. I used to know how to milk cows (by hand!). When I was young.

A very fine series of shots, MB.

Thanks Mary Beth for sharing this great collection of barns this week. The red barn with swans and geese in mid air is wonderful and what about the roof on the fourth barn. I hope that you return again soon.

I love the snow geese although there can be a problem when there are too many of them!

Great barns - and the snow geese!!! We have yet to see the big flocks of snow geese this year - we've seen masses of the Swans - more than we've ever seen - but we seem to miss the Snow Geese - and it is a 45 minute drive to Fir Island - we'll keep trying.
