She's driving and lovin' it

Kylee turned 16 and is just finishing Drivers Ed. only they call it Traffic Safety course.
She has been driving her Mothers big Ford Diesel truck for a couple of years and she has driven a quad at the Dunes and uses the tractor around the place. So she drives quite well and is very responsible. Here she is driving my car and I don't even mind going with here even going 70 on the freewa. She already has a truck. It is an 80s stick shift Toyota truck that she named Rhonda. I think she will be on probation until August before she can drive without immediate family in the truck.
And the other picture is of her driving her Aunt's (my youngest) extreme Dodge Ram.

And of course she rides them pesky horses all over the place. MB

We'll hope the Mazda-rati treats her better than it treats you!

She looks happy behind the wheel. Hey, after August there'll be someone else to go out for milk or eggs when you run out! :)

Have wheels, will travel!

I sure remember loving to drive...not that I got to do much as a teen-ager. She looks like I felt thought, when I did.

OOPSY next she will have curfews. She is so cute and happy behind that wheel. With all the practice before she will do fine out there in the gas and disel world. Hey does this mean we will not see any future photos of her on her horse at the dairy queen. Peace

I remember when my daughter turned sixteen and started driving. She didn't have the advantage of driving a tractor and farm trucks like Kylee did, but she turned out to be a good driver. I'm sure Kylee will be a good driver as well.

Congrats to Kylee.... Sounds like she has already had alot of experience... My granddaughter in TX just got her license also (in Nov. on her 16th birthday).

Do you know that in TX, in order to get a license, you do not have to take Driver's Training. You do not have to pass a driving test. The ONLY thing you have to do --and you can do it online--is to pass a written test. Isn't that totally amazing????? Guess we need to stay away from Texas!!!! ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Yes I truly remember my landmark at 18 in my case of completing driver education as it was called in the '50s

A lucky girl, plenty of wheels and horses around.

Ah, the memory of that FIRST drivers license!! And being able to drive ALONE!

Now that is what I call independence!!

Take care!

I love her grin-- she looks so pleased with herself! I remember how good it felt to be one step closer to independence.

It's wonderful! At first they want to go everywhere...then that gets old and they don't want to run errands anymore. :(
She's a lovely girl and sounds very responsible.

From what you've said before she seems like a very responsible person! She's very pretty, too. I'll bet she looks like her grandmother!
