We have the surf scoters and the cormorants, but not the snow geese. I do love watching the birds on the water. Thanks for sending that photo. I don't know what happened to my time this past few days (yes, I do, but it's only work)!
I like things that are organized and birds or ducks in a row is one of them. I wonder, sometimes, who decides where they perch.
The mill you saw on my Brookville blog is usually parked full of bikers who come there to look around. At least when I go I see them. I think some of it has to do with people coming there on weekends. If you got a snazzy bike it is a great place to park it and show it off.
I wish we had some place close to get some shots like these - The birds in flight & on the wooden pier, then maybe I could get 'MY DUCK' all in a row! Heheheee You're so funny & it's the perfect title!!!
You did a great job of getting all your surf scoters and cormorants in a row. There may not be enough snow geese to make a 'row', but they are practicing precision flying!
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

All in a row and some flying in perfect formation!
I like your pix! The snow geese are great! I am posting Canadian geese today . . .
No, my ducks are not in a row today. Maybe by noon. Hahaha!
Love the bird photos, MB.

Back again...
I think Brittney was there in 2003. Not sure if that is correct.
A lovely series of bird pictures! My favorite.
They simply must do something about that lisp.
A great group of photos with a theme...perfect.
You really captured the grace of the birds in flight in that third image, MB!
I love the row of cormorants. They are so distinctive.

Cute! Funny how everyone is lining up for you.
Funny post, lovely shots!
In a row like the ducks would be "en file indienne" in French. I.e. "Indian line"! ;-)
haha...you make me laugh!
All my ducks were in a row behind me on Saturday, but today is a different story -:)
Glad to see all yours lined up so willingly!
Boy, this post is really for the birds! That's what I want on the golf course - more birdies!
Wait, I think I got off track. It must have been your comment about your "mind."
Wonderful shots!!
We can enjoy the feeling of flying in tandem with a friend.
I love watching cormorants open their wings to dry in the sun. The third shot is so beautiful!
