It is RAINING but being an Eagle I just love this weather and I just flew down from Siberia and it is ok----really!!!   I took this picture in the valley on Friday.

A-hunting we did go............not too graphic.......

 Not only did we have fun at my daughter's what with the horses, cows and dogs, not to mention people too but we went deer hunting.  I had never been deer hunting but said I would go along.  This beautiful 4 point buck became ours.  We skinned him out and Bob and his son Jim cut and wrapped the meat.  It is excellent meat according Jim who is a chef.  It isn't a bit gamey.   The deer on the ranch have access to wheat, oats and corn fields.  And we accessed all the meat we could and even made stock with the bones.

Home again--home again--Jiggity jig!!

We headed east on Monday morning.  Up over Snoqualmie Pass to Eastern Washington.
Landed at the ranch where my daughter lives and works with her husband and family.
Did some ranch walking
Checked out the horses
Watched them move cattle with herders, horses and cowdogs.
Saw a wonderful Ritzville sunset.

Hiking, hunting and having fun......

Gone and hopefully not forgotten.  Be back in 5+ days.  Gonna have fun but am not going to Paris.  LOL  MB

This is Pass Lake with Mt Erie reflected in it  Mt Erie is a  hill actually of mostly rock that is great for hiking and climbing  and the view out to the SanJuans and Anacortes and Whidbey Island are great
