Tuesday's Treasures

These are my two eldest Treasures--Cheri 4 is on my horse-Sundust and R is one the sweetest pony ever--her name is Betty.  All 4 kids ( i had 2 more--call me crazy) learned to ride on Betty and she took them to the horse games and Barrel raced---She was a dandy.

Early Summer Blooms

My Lilies.  These are blooming now and there are several different varieties that will be emerging soon

 I like this little Faerie hiding in this  Heuchera.  I have 7 different Heucheras.
Next is a seed pod head of a Purple Allium and then 2 different Peonies

FATHER'S DAY

Happy Father's day to my Father who is in Heaven. He left when I was 12 and I miss him always. But I know he has been watching me and mine from above all these years.

Buzz buzz

Went out to do some gardening this morning and heard all this buzzing and then saw a jillion bees zipping around.  It was a Honey Bee swarm and they were in a small Crabapple tree.
Here is the swarm

 It is a small tree and the swarm is not very high

 Well here are the rescue-ers right on time

 She captured them all and is handing the box to the other Bee person
It was exciting to watch---just sorry I didn't get better pics but.....

Crazy Sky

My eldest daughter took these pictures on her ranch in Ritzville, Wa.  Took them yesterday.

 Eastern W, is a fairly dry country.  Actually Ritzville is in the Channeled Scablands (look it up) and because of such low rainfall they are considered desert.  Well the grass is knee high to a tall heifer because they have had sun, wind, rain and everything Mother Nature wanted to throw at them.
Looks like she is the pot of gold.

Time for a laugh

The first time I saw this sign I just knew I had to photograph it.  It just makes me laugh.  I probably have posted it before but here it is again.
It was at the restroom  at the Indian John Rest Area on I90 heading East.

She is a treasure

Mt. Rainier taken from the deck of our house east of Stanwood..  Somedays she comes out to be adored and sometimes not.  She is our treasure.
