The beautiful early early sunrise from my deck--looking south to the mountain and then east through the trees. and then my camera jammed and of course the sky was great and my camera never worked again until I was at Whidbey and now it is jammed again and I am TORQUED!!! But at least I got these pics. After watching the beautiful sky unfold I went to visit my Mother on whidbey Island. The first shot is from the ferry boat on the way home and the other two shots are boats in Holmes Harbor.
MB Glad the car and camera are working again for you. Your photos are so good we would miss them if the camera was jammed for a long time. Please don't stop on the freeway again for any photos for us. You are too precious to loose to a photo opt. Peace
Oh weee, those are gorgeous skies you caught, but I'm sooo sorry about your camera - I've been having lots of TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY lately too! Hope it gets to working soon
I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your camera. I would imagine that the camera problem is even more frustrating than the car problem. But I liked the pictures you were able to get.
I'm with Jacob on this one. We shoot with a D40 and a couple of good lenses. It's a very affordable camera if you shop around. We're going to step up to the D90 in the future, but for now this does everything we need.
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

You are having a bad string of luck right now. I wonder what happened to your camera. Not nice! You must feel very frustrated.
As for your car. Hmmm. I never thrust them. But shhhh! Don't tell my car I said that.
I hope your camera gets unjammed. Nice sunrise and lake pictures, the ferry ride must be relaxing.

Hi Mary Beth, Sorry about your camera. Hope you can get it fixed. That can be so frustrating.

MB: No big deal. I like these morning shots. I can smell the cool refreshing salt air.
That's an incredible view from your deck...that whole area entrances me.
Sorry about your camera...so frustrating...maybe you oughta spring for a new SLR, like the small, lightweight Nikon D40 from Adorama in NYC.
(P.S. I receive no benefits from Adorama, but they are great to deal with.)
