The sun was trying

We have been having day after day of rain rain rain. Yesterday morning around 9AM this poor little sun was trying to come through the clouds during a break in the rain. Alas, to no avail----the rains returned and have not stopped.
And I am TRAPPED in my house with no car because the radiator blew up and that happened yesterday too. MB

If you would like to see more skies from around the world or participate go to www.skyley.blogspot.com---enjoy.

You have captured our weather perfectly! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting; I truly appreciate it! Have a wonderful (sunny?) weekend!

Simple shot MB tells it all. I've seen too many days like that having lived on the coast for 39 years, but it keeps a person busy inside. I reviewed your previous posts with the birds and pumpkins and enjoyed them thoroughly.

Oh, yes, we're definitely having that gray, gray here in Seattle! Glad that I got some good shots a little earlier this week! Terrific shot!

Have a great weekend!

I love the feeling of this photo, looks like it should include opening credits for a horror movie.

I've told you time and again not to put too much air in your radiator! ;-)

Looks dreary and dull! But you should have lots of time to play on the computer today!

Have a great weekend!

Alas, I feel your gloom. It has also been raining alot in TN with more to come. So far they think it might end by Halloween Eve. I will believe it when I see it. My bathroom sink has been out of service since last Friday and the plummer has been working on it for about 2 hrs now and it still is stopped up. YIKES
I like the 5th photo of the previous post showing how they stack pumkin in the concrete urns.
Sorry about your wheels, just break out your duster and hat and saddle a horse. Peace

I didn't realize you lived next door. You took a picture of the sky above our home too. Imagine that!
I'm sorry to hear you're stuck at home with a broken ride. That has to be frustrating.

Hi Mary Beth, Sorry to hear about your radiator. That's a bummer....

A bummer about all of your rain too.... Mercy me!!! It's been a strange Fall everywhere this past month.

You did capture a great GRAY sky.
Hugs,
Betsy

I know that sky and I know what you mean about being trapped inside! Winter has arrived on the coast. Nice image MB.

We traded Seattle rain for Colorado rain which became a blizzard!

That looks like the sky at my house.all I can say is that it is not snow yet. We live in Wa. Isn't it suppose to rain. My Grandfather use to say Wa. had two seasons Winter and August.

Great capture on the peeking through shot. Hope you have a dry weekend.

It sounds as if you're living proof of "when it rains, it pours". I hope your car is better and that the sun is more successful in breaking through the clouds. It's a wonderful picture, however.

And here I though Montana was the Big Sky Country ... this same sky was over Seattle, too -:))

OK, now I get it. That's what I get for reading backwards. So it's your car and camera that are sick. But, you've still gotten to Widbey and survived Halloween. Hope things get better.
