Scenes from Western Games in Stanwood

I spent all day Sunday at the Western horse games in stanwood. It is games on horseback put on by the Stillaguamish Valley riders. Shannon and Kylee rode and it was fun to watch.

1. Little cowgirl with the best seat in the house
2. Kylee and Mac doing the Half 8
3. Heading for the barrel
4. Going home
5. Kylee and Macaroni

Nice series. Kylee looks great in that 2nd photo, working to keep her balance. Mac has quite a lean in that turn! And I love the little cowgirl on the fence. Says it all! Thanks for the Father's Day wish -:)

Lee really enjoyed his visit with you. Maybe we'll both be up sometime. Although your second photo is very dramatic, I think my favorite is the first one, partly because I like the image of the little girl in the hat, and because of the neat building in blue. They go well together. The whole photo has a feeling of pleasant anticipation.

Looks like lots of fun. I used to have horses before I moved to Canada. They really get in your blood. - Margy

Lots of great memories for you all! I love your action shots and couldn't believe the horse was still upright in that one shot! Looks like fun was had by all.
