I saw two pretty Western Kingbirds sitting on some posts on a fence line. I wanted to get closer to the birds and everytime I would take a step closer they would hop to the next post. We followed the fenceline for quite awhile until they got tired of the game and flew off.
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

These are beauties. I wish we had them here.
At least they stayed still long to get a few good pictures.
So cute and soooo yellow!
The joys of rural living. a far cry from freeways and suburban sprawl. I love the bird enjoying all that open space.
Lovely birds.
He looks like a lighter version of our Eastern Kingbird!
Very pretty birds. I admire your ability to get shots like this - they so often elude me.
