Lenticulars (flying saucers) are so fascinating to me. I have never seen them in person, but they are very cool in pics! Great capture of the birth of one.
What a fantastic shot... I know that this morning when I left for work I could see the mountain through the trees in a haze of brilliant pink. It was gorgeous. A great spot of color from all of this dark we have been under... and then it was gone in a flash.
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

It's cool that you are able to see both Rainer and Baker from the area that you live in.
Very pretty, I like the colors and the fog near the ground.
Stunning MB!
Did it stop rainning there? I saw it on the news too.

Hello from Norway!

Cool. I need to remember that word - lenticular. Special clouds on a special mountain.
What a beautiful dialogue between heaven and earth. I love the palette.
Peachy and grey in harmony as only can nature can do.
Lovely views from a distance!
I love that little copycat upsidedown cloud.
I wish I knew more about cloud formations. I do know the forecast symbols for cloudy, partly cloudy and showers.
I've only ever seen these clouds in photo blogs from North America. They are rather out of this world.
Beautiful layered composition.
Ever so beautiful - the mountain and your many exceptional photographs of the mountain, Mary Beth!
